The Late Michael Jackson

I frequently read a blog called "Vigilant Citizen" , and it is basically about the dark side of the entertainment industry; occultism, secret societies, and many theories that are happening today and from the past. This specific blog post was about secret drawings unearthed that were created by the late Michael Jackson. looking at some of his art work got me thinking about art therapy of course, and I found myself trying to dissect the art pieces as if Michael were my client today.  As you can see, just from the disturbing picture above you are able to take a glimpse of the conflicts that Michael had internally when he was alive. In my opinion, I see a sense of someone controlling him, and a false emotion. If you are interested in seeing more of his pictures and to read this blog post, go here.

  1. I'm glad you shared this. As I was looking through some of the drawings in the site, a lot of them appeared to be portraying several struggles from his life. One of the drawings that captured my attention was the one with 3 people in one, which all have similar faces. At first, I thought it might have been his children MJ was illustrating, since it seemed to appear to be 2 males and one female. However, when reading the information at the bottom of the drawing where it stated to be an adult male, adult female and a child it made me think if that's what MJ thought about his parents when he came into the world. Very interesting link, again thanks so much for sharing.

  2. Thank you so much for sharing. It's funny that you shared this because after our last class I couldn't get Michael Jackson out of my head. When Professor Fagen said that childhood trauma victims can experience a sense of lost childhood I automatically thought to myself about Michael Jackson's history of physical and emotional abuse and Michael Jackson's song "Have You Seen My Childhood." I know that people may have very different opinions on MJ but it's clear through his drawings (as well as through his outward appearance and song lyrics) that he was suffering great inner turmoil. I was particularly struck by the fourth image. To me it is the perfect example of his regression as the drawing ability demonstrated is far below that of a typical adult. Additionally, the x-ray effect is interesting to take note of. So many colors seem to be mixed up inside and yet the facial expression seems quite flat.
