Art Share/Class Experience: Trauma Lecture

Last class I came in frazzled and rushing. I had had train trouble and was running late and felt so relieved to hear that we would be allowed to be creative while listening to the trauma lecture. I didn't think I could handle feeling so anxious and then having to sit and intently listen to and look at the resulting artwork of traumatic experiences. I wanted to be able to listen to the lecture and not get too distracted by art work. As such, I repeated many of the same details several times throughout the art work as it felt sort of mindless to indulge in these little dots and lines. I didn't want to get too caught up in what I was doing next or what the final product would look like and so after drawing the central diamond figure I played with folding up the paper in different ways and just taking it section by section. At the very end,  opened the whole thing up and had this as my end result.
