Class Experience: Creatures and Clay

At the beginning of class a few weeks ago, when I saw the red clay we were going to use, I was sad because I did not think I could make anything good from that.  But then I decided to make a bowl of marbles.   Later, when I put the bowl in front of the watercolor creatures I had created, I saw that it could look like like a bowl of food sitting in front of the creatures.  I thought that was kind of funny and was happy about the project after all.
