The first two pieces I drew in class were small pictures of a religious Jewish man and a woman with curly hair. I enjoy drawing people and as Drena was talking, I found it therapeutic to doodle as I listened. However, when the topic switched from more general trauma to trauma relating to sexual abuse, I switched over from drawing people and started to draw large, colorful shapes. I felt  very disturbed by the topic and by the images shown on the screen, and I felt like I needed to distract myself by drawing large, intricate shapes. Looking at the picture now, it seems as though the shapes have a sinister look to them. The edges are spiky and two of the shapes (the green and red shape in the middle and the blue and purple shape in the bottom right corner) look like creepy, mean watching eyes.
