Art Share: Supergum
Hi everyone, I just wanted to post a picture of Supergum and
Sidekick gum. They usually catch people by throwing themselves under shoes, but
I think that by now they have probably been baked, so they might have to think
of a new strategy.
Sarah - Supergum and Sidekick Gum were such a huge hit in my house! My 8 year old could not be more excited about Sidekick Gum!
Which makes me think a lot about these little guys -- I think there's such a great appeal in the idea of someone little being able to take on the bad guys with persistence!
I just wanted to say that I love Supergum and Sidekick gum. Whenever I think about gum on my shoe in general, it's something that I get mad about. I think it's so inconsiderate that someone chewed a piece of gum and carelessly threw it on the ground in a place where someone can step on. These bring to life something I never thought about, what it must feel like to be a piece of sidewalk gum that's been chewed and left behind. To me, these are characters that bring a playful dynamic to my thoughts about gum on my shoe.
