Childhood Memories

Sarah, I appreciated getting to be a part of you tapping into your childhood memories. It's amazing how a memory can tap into your senses like the "smell of thr room." I also was brought back, but had a lot of trouble staying with those feelings i remembered while i was little and immediately flipped the page and drew something more comforting which became a tree. I am very drawn to animals and felt at ease taking on the persona of a whale and duck (shown in your picture). I think I am comfortable being child-like because I have spent a lot of time with young children and at some point i just let go and stopped fighting the desire to be silly and playful. I am glad that you got to take a ride on my whale back and we swam to Hawaii for a nice vacation. : )
