I'm not sure why I chose to create a polar bear, and her cub nonetheless. Perhaps I relate to her in some way. The colors are calming, and I like that she has white fur. She represents strength to me, not only being able to care for herself in harsh conditions, but for her cub as well.
I really like this because the school that I taught at for years is the "ICE Polar Bears". ICE is an acronym for Institute for Collaborative Education. Their colors are black and white, but I always thought they should go for a softer blue and white. This piece reminds me of the school and it is a happy memory. Thanks for sharing!
